Blue Horse Ambassadors: Terms and Conditions

Overview

Thank you for your interest in supporting Blue Horse Entries’ mission to build an accessible equestrian community! We look forward to working with you to grow the number of events available on Blue Horse Entries, increasing access to equine sports across disciplines and geographic regions. 

The Blue Horse Entries Ambassador Program exists to increase awareness of the Blue Horse Entries brand and related services to become the platform of choice for online equestrian event management. As part of Blue Horse Entries’ commitment to increasing accessibility, the Ambassador Program is designed to celebrate and give back to the event organizers, riders, and volunteers at all levels that make competitions, clinics, and equine activities possible. 

Applying to become an Ambassador

To become a Blue Horse Entries Ambassador, individuals must complete a brief application process. The application is designed to confirm that the individual meets the eligibility for the Ambassador Program, detailed below:

• Resides in the United States
• Is over 18 years of age
• Has an active Blue Horse Entries account*

*Individual does not have to be actively competing or hosting events to be eligible, but must have a completed profile and have logged in within the past 6 months

Once an interested individual has submitted the Blue Horse Entries Ambassador application, their application will be verified and approved at the Blue Horse Entries team’s sole discretion. If approved, the individual will receive an email confirmation to the email address associated with their Blue Horse Entries account within fourteen days of applying for the program. 

Getting Started

Once an individual has been approved as a Blue Horse Entries Ambassador, they will receive a unique referral code that they can share with new event organizers. As part of the welcome experience, the Ambassador will receive access to exclusive Blue Horse Entries content including marketing materials, educational content, and more. 

Sharing the Blue Horse Entries Brand

When promoting Blue Horse Entries, please refer to the Ambassador Marketing guide for best practices on sharing information and content about the brand.

Qualifying Referrals and Rewards

For each New Organizer referred using the unique referral link, the Blue Horse Entries Ambassador is eligible to receive a reward of their choice from the list below. For a referral to qualify for rewards, the referred New Organizer must use the unique referral link to create an Organizer account, publish an event, and accept their entries exclusively through Blue Horse Entries. If a Blue Horse Entries Ambassador refers a New Organizer, but the New Organizer does not use the Ambassador's unique referral link to create their Organizer account, then the Ambassador will not earn a reward from their event.

If an Ambassador wants to earn a reward for a New Organizer’s event, they must make sure the New Organizer uses their unique referral link when they create their Organizer account. 

A New Organizer is defined as an individual or organization that has not published an event on the Blue Horse Entries platform since December 31, 2023. Each New Organizer qualifies as one referral; Ambassadors cannot earn multiple rewards for one New Organizer. 

Once the New Organizer’s event is completed - the end date listed on the Blue Horse Entries event listing has passed - the referring Ambassador will be eligible for rewards, which can be selected from the following:

• In-kind Blue Horse Entries sponsorship of Ambassador’s event of choice 
• Free entry for up to three classes into a Blue Horse Entries Virtual Event
• Exclusive Blue Horse Entries SWAG
• 10% of Blue Horse Entries collected fees ($4.99 per entry) for the first event completed by the New Organizer*

*If an Ambassador selects their reward to be 10% of Blue Horse Entries collected fees ($4.99 per entry) for the first event completed by the New Organizer, the total reward amount will be calculated by the Blue Horse Entries team and is non-disputable. To protect the privacy of the participants in events listed through Blue Horse Entries, entry information, with the exception of the total number of entries submitted, will not be shared with Blue Horse Entries Ambassadors. An example payout for this reward is as follows:

• Ambassador successfully refers a New Organizer who publishes an event and accepts entries exclusively through Blue Horse Entries
• 400 participants submit entries and complete the event
• After the event is completed, the Ambassador will receive 10% of Blue Horse Entries’ collected fees, equalling $200

Ambassadors will be contacted by the Blue Horse Entries team when they are eligible to select a reward. Rewards will be distributed on a monthly basis. 

Additional Ambassador Opportunities

At the discretion of the Blue Horse Entries team, outstanding Ambassadors may be offered opportunities to earn additional rewards. Opportunities may include but are not limited to guest blog posts, social media content, and in-person event attendance. Terms and conditions for such opportunities will be managed in a separate agreement.
